2013 Artwork Transgender Day Of Remembrance 2013

The Transgender Day Of Remembrance is a day for remembering transgender people who have been murdered because they were transgender. Depressingly, there always seems to be a new list of people who have died within the past year. You can read this year’s list here, although I should warn you that it isn’t easy reading.

Prejudice against transgender people is an issue which the whole world needs to solve. Whilst there has been a lot of progress in some parts of the world, even a cursory glance at the list will show you that things are still beyond terrible for transgender people in some parts of the world.
